The English word ‘psychoanalysis’, apart from its composition from the two Old Greek words that give it its meaning, contains another interesting aspect in its word structure. If the first two letters are swapped, the word ‘spy’ becomes a new and quite meaningful phrase—”The Spy in my Head”. Someone enters my inner stage and I myself have opened the front door voluntarily or have been forced to open it. This someone opens other doors— back doors that I have deliberately kept closed. All for my benefit, maybe not really helpful, but it does something to me. Apart from the “necessities” for psychoanalytic and psychiatric therapies (a psyche that deviates from the norm does not necessarily have to be equated with illness and regarded as problematic—what is ‘normal’ anyway) the fact remains that someone is spying in my head. To return to the image of the stage I used at the beginning: the inner stage is my ultimate refuge, from which I do not want the inside to be turned outwards.
Just a little gimmick: “Psy” is also the name of the South Korean musician who caused a sensation with “Gangnam Style”.
[A] The combination of the background of the picture (the sky) and another visual object may evoke an (English) term that is ambiguous in German and thus “calls up a second theme”.
[B] In addition, this combination may result in a new subject or an invented word through an equally pronounced but differently spelled word combination, as well as through a differently pronounced but equally spelled word.
[C] Additionally it is the title of the work that reveals a background and thematic association of the image.
[D] And in the one or other case it is just a modified photograph.
Meine Assoziationen
Mensch, klare Züge, Augen geschlossen, schaut nach innen, ruhig, besonnen, intensiv.
Gesicht zweigeteilt, hell – dunkel, beides präsent.
Der Mensch ist bei sich, bei seinem sichtbaren Ich (rechte Gehirn hälfte, fühlt, sieht, hat Bilder…), bei seinem Schatten, der dem Baum zugewandt ist (linke Gehirnhälfte, denkt, konstruiert, analysiert, weiß/nicht…)
Rechts der Winterbaum, auch geteilt: die Hälfte ist nicht im Rahmen, nicht auf dem Bild. Die linke Seite (vielleicht ist es aus der Perspektive des Baumes ja auch die rechte) streckt die blattlosen Zweige aus in Richtung des Menschen-Kopfes. Ist da. Stamm und Wurzel nicht im Bild. Wird wahrgenommen. Zwei Figuren in Beziehung (vorsichtig, mit Distanz, auch ne dichotymie: links Ästhetik, Konzentration, Ausstrahlung, rechts: Ästhetik, Natürliches, Blattloses, nur (noch) zum Teil im Bild. Bewegungsrichtung nach rechts (nach draußen, weg )
Transformation. Allein/nicht allein
Veränderte Gestalt, sucht nicht nach außen, ist bei sich, ist sich des Himmels und des Baumes gewahr. Ist (nicht) getrennt. (scheinbare) Harmonie, (Ver) Gehen
Versuch, zu verstehen, die Analyse nachzuvollziehen:
der Menschenmopf nimmt sich den Raum, die Zeit für sich, mit Konzentration und Aufmerksamkeit. Er nimmt sich wahr, das Alte, das neue, neu werdende, die Welt scheint “normal”, , die Psyche ist vielleicht in Unruhe, löst sich auf, findet sich, findet den Himmel, findet die Baumgestalt, findet sich, fokussiert sich, traut sich. Tore sind geöffnet, für die Wahrnehmung , für die neue Wirklichkeit. Ohne die vertrauten Elemente, die Natur, die Bindung zu verlieren. Such nach neuer Entität. Arbeit, Konstruktion, Trauer, Abschied, Bereitschaft für Neues, für neues Ich. Für ein neues (auch altes) harmonisches, konstruktives, sehr kreatives Sein.
Im Sinne von: es ist alles da. Und auch: ich (er)finde mich neu. Der Übergang ist verwirrend und beunruhigend, Trennung vom Vorherigen ist schmerzhaft und braucht viel Zeit. Metamorphose ist ein Stück ver-rücken, neu Schauen, sich einlassen, geschehen lassen, auch Neugier, Zuversicht und Genuss/ crisis= new paths, chances, growth
