“Cube Ex Ex 3” ist the third work of a series of drawings dealing with cubic forms.

Not surprising, the same applies here as with “Cube Ex Ex 1”, with the slight difference that there is a thematic background now: hence the subtitle ‘Moth Cage’.

 

The cube embodies a cage that denies generations of moths access to the outside world and they can only move around inside the cube—”compressed motion”.
