It is well known that the French speak 'bad' English, especially in terms of pronunciation. The title of the work, "Ungereimtes" (without rhyme), is ambiguous. On the one hand the word is used in the sense of 'forming no rhyme', on the other hand it stands for something that 'makes no right sense, is confused'. "Ungereimtes" deals with the meaning of the pictorial in our language (spoken and written) and in our thinking. We know that language and thought are connected in many ways, regardless of the fact that in certain contexts thought may be possible without the use of language.
