The title of the work, "Ungereimtes" (without rhyme), is ambiguous. On the one hand the word is used in the sense of 'forming no rhyme', on the other hand it stands for something that 'makes no right sense, is confused'. "Ungereimtes" deals with the meaning of the pictorial in our language (spoken and written) and in our thinking. "v.e.r.s. poster"—the abbreviation corresponds to the German word for ‘verse’. v.e.r.s. is formed from the initial letters of the German terms for ‘(imagine’, ‘recognize’, ‘talk’ and ‘ponder’ listed after the title.
