The 22-Spot Ladybug, as shown in the lower left corner of the image, is the namesake for the Finnish rock band 22-Pistepirkko. The work shows the band’s singer, guitarist, and songwriter Hannu PK Keränen larger than life, sitting among the concertgoers at the interface to the stage. The lighting illuminates and obscures the stage in equal measure, making it impossible to see the other band members there—nor is this a real band performance. Rather, PK Keränen is replaying the past Rockpalast gig in his mind/in a dream.
